Happy Birthday to me!

Yes, I have reached the big 2-4. Thats two 12 packs, four six packs, or one case of beer. Such a perfect number only comes around... well every 24 years. Did you know that birthday candles at Draegers come in packs of 24? Yup. Or that there are 24 hours in a day? There is something simply divine about this number. Really, Douglas Adams had it all wrong-- its not 42, its 24. 24 is the number of perfection. I will now bask in the glory of this first day of perfection for its remaining two minutes. Thanks to all those who showed up yesterday!

Thanks for the invite! You better post those pics when you get them! ;o)

24 is also a perfect number because it is the return of our zodiac year once more. So this year should be an especially lucky one. :o)

Happy birthday--I am afraid I will be at the part about two and a half weeks late--see you then.

I await your return. Migraine would be honored to have you as our official photographer and roadie the Saturday of your return, if circumstances permit, as well.

I see how it is ... I don't get an invite :(

Well, despite my feelings of bitterness and betrayal, a belated Happy Birthday to you sir.

Hi Cal, I was under the impression that you are in Boston. If you aren't, give me a call-- we should hang out. Erm, I sent invites to Eron and Sean and was going to send you one but it seemed rather silly to invite people thousands of miles away so I gave up...

If it makes you feel any better, I still have a piece of meat in the fridge from the bbq. If I pack it in dry ice I'm sure it could arrive tasting slightly like beef jerky but free of maggots!

No I was definately being silly. I am indeed still in Boston.

As for your kind offer of meat ... are you sure dry ice is what you use to pack it? I am pretty sure normal ice will suffice. Though I must say I am a big fan of maggot-free.

I think USPS might have a problem with a box filled with, erm, for lack of a better word, wet ice. I'm sure they'd love to open the back of their truck and find a big, wet, pulpy mess with a piece of old barbequed meat sitting on top, with some adjacent envelopes as garnishes.

I see you have only the noblest of intentions. And here I thought that you were just being cheap, dry ice weighing less than wet ice. For shame, I should have never doubted your empathy for the postal service.

It's obviously time to obtain a Star Trek teleporter.

Or maybe we could build a Stargate that goes to my fridge?
